The Monkees - Love Is Only Sleeping (jazz combo arrangement)

One of my favorite tunes by The Monkees arranged with a jazz flavor for a small jazz combo. It has a nice groove in 7/4 and switches to 4/4 in many places. I think that most high school jazz players with at least 2-3 years of jazz experience could handle this chart. There is an optional vocal part that has an occasional extra harmony. The rest of the instruments are trumpet, tenor saxophone, guitar, piano, bass, and drums. The score is 6 pages and each individual part is either one or two pages.
