Here’s a very hip and fresh arrangement of this wintertime holiday classic. This tune was written by James Lord Pierpont in 1857. Even though we most often hear it around Christmastime, it was originally meant to be sung around Thanksgiving in the United States. I arranged this with a bluesy feel to spice up this track and give it a new feel. This arrangement is perfect for an elementary class or a beginner choir to perform. There is one vocal part, one piano part, and chord names for guitar or other instruments to accompany with. It’s presented in the key of G. There are three pages in the score. The duration is approximately one minute so there is plenty of room for repeats in various section or to add extra verses if you wish.
